Man allegedly points firearm at partner in Verner.

On March 9^th, 2019, West Nipissing Police attended a Verner address regarding a domestic dispute.  The female victim explained that she had an argument with her partner.  The argument escalated and the male allegedly pointed a firearm at her and threatened her.  Police arrested a male and charged him with Pointing a Firearm, Assault, Uttering Threats, and Unsafe Storage of  Firearms.

On March 12^th, 2019, police were called to attend the Giant Tiger store in Sturgeon Falls, regarding a shoplifting complaint.  The female suspect had attempted to steal makeup, but was spotted by store staff.  Police were called and the items were recovered. Catherine Beaulieu (43yrs) of Sturgeon Falls is charged for Theft Under.

On March 12^th, 2019, police attended the No Frills Store in Sturgeon Falls for another shoplifting complaint.  Staff noticed a female suspect hide items inside her purse and clothing.  Police were contacted and confronted the female.  Makeup and other various items were recovered.  Jasmine Fitzgerald (20yrs) of Sturgeon Falls is charged with Theft Under and Possession of Stolen Property.
