Cash and $20,000 of Drugs Seized

Drug Seizure

At approximately 12:15am, October 28th , officers from the West Nipissing Police Service executed a Controlled Drugs and Substance Act search warrant at a Third Street residence in
Sturgeon Falls.

During a search of the residence police located and seized in excess of 200 grams of suspected cocaine, large amount of Canadian currency, a digital scale, telephones and packaging materials.
The potential street value of the drugs is estimated to be $20,000.

63 year old Marcel Serre of Sturgeon Falls now faces charges of Possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a controlled substance and possession of
property obtained by crime. 39 year old Tanya Larcher of Sturgeon Falls faces one charge of possession of a controlled substance.

Both accused are schedule to appear in court in December.
