At approximately 7:00am, January 11th, officers from the West Nipissing Police Service and the
Ontario Provincial Police executed a Controlled Drugs and Substance Act search warrant at a
Nipissing Street residence in Sturgeon Falls.
The search of the residence was completed and officers seized in excess of eight thousand
(8,000) methamphetamine pills along with other drug paraphernalia. The street value of the
seizure is valued at approximately $40,000.
One man was arrested at the residence he was taken into custody and is being held for bail. A
second adult man is wanted by police in connection with this investigation.
The two Sturgeon Falls men are facing charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance for the
Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Fail to comply with conditions
of a Recognizance.
