Laura Levac of Sturgeon Falls discovered Contact North | Contact Nord when she wanted to take a full-time online program. She is currently enrolled in Confederation College’s 2-year Business- Human Resources Diploma Program. With the support of Contact North | Contact Nord she is able to attend classes from her home computer using their webconferencing platform and complete exams at the online learning centre located in Collège Boréal.

“I wanted to take my education online,” says Levac. As a single mother who wanted to move into a career in human resources, she needed to find the right program and for it to be offered online. “It takes the pressure off when I can manage the daily stresses of my responsibilities as a single parent and attend school.”

“Students who need a quiet place away from distractions can also attend their classes from our Sturgeon Falls online learning centre. We are located in Collège Boréal, 96 Main Street, Room 722. The online learning centre offers computers and Internet access and the use of audioconferencing, videoconferencing and webconferencing distance delivery platforms for students to connect to their programs and courses, and we invigilate exams,” said Kitlar.
